How to Reach UCSB: The most convenient way to travel to Santa Barbara is to fly;
some airlines offer connecting flights to Santa Barbara from Los Angeles International
Airport (LAX) as well as other cities in the U.S. The public bus and train connections
from LAX to Santa Barbara are not convenient. However, the
Santa Barbara Airbus
will take you from any terminal at LAX to Goleta for $40.00. The Airbus runs from
7:30 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. RESERVATIONS can be made AFTER your arrival by calling
their toll free number: 1-800-423-1618 between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Local bus
and taxi service will bring you from the Santa Barbara Airport and Airbus Depot
to the University campus. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to
12:00 noon and 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
