J-2 EMPLOYMENT REQUEST INSTRUCTIONS
According to immigration law, the J2 spouse (and/or children) may be granted permission
to accept employment in the U.S. if such employment is only for the support of the
J-2 dependent(s) and not for support of the J1 visa holder. This permission is available
only after the J-2 has entered the U.S. and has submitted the following documentation
by mail to the Immigration (Immigration and Naturalization Service) Service Center
office which has jurisdiction over the area of U.S. residence. For those at UCSB,
